Description

Ammonites were relatives of squids and nautili which thrived in the seas during the time of the dinosaurs, approximately 140-100 million years ago. Their name originates from the Greek ram-horned god Ammon. There were many different varieties, ranging in size from a penny to a tractor tyre.
Please note that as a natural product, the shape of each may vary. The ammonites are approximately 2.5cm across and are sold individually and choosen at random.
